Milvus offers new features every month, adding value to our partners at each delivery. In this Update 50, we’ve enabled customization of ticket fields.
Now you can customize the ticket form, adjusting views and field requirements according to customer interactions. This feature helps simplify communication and ensure essential data are filled according to the needs of every service.
Also, this configuration can be applied to several Milvus fields, such as customer, category, and custom fields.
For example, if a customer selects the “HR -> Vacation request” category, when filling in the ticket, the form will display the vacation start date and end date fields. In another situation, if an employee chooses the “IT -> Part request” category, a list field will be displayed with types of parts that can be requested.
With this feature of customization of ticket fields, the options of ticket categorization, make categorization mandatory, and make email an optional feature for the customer will be removed from the ticket settings. They will be present in the form settings only.
